MARC PAUL CHINOY
PRESIDENT


Marc Paul Chinoy is the founder and president of The Regis Group, Inc. Chinoy is an internationally recognized facilitator experienced in executive team planning, issue resolution, and transition management. Chinoy provides strategic planning and decision support to a wide range of professions and industries including telecommunications, healthcare, and the legal profession.

Chinoy has facilitated harmonization and industry-wide issue resolution efforts related to Healthcare with an emphasis on quality assurance, nursing standards, and pharmacy. Chinoy was engaged at the request of the FCC to manage the coordination of a wide range of telecom leaders in the advancement of consumer protection.'

Recently, Chinoy acted as a facilitator for multinational discussions intended to lead to eventual international patent law harmonization. In this matter, Chinoy was engaged by the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) acting in cooperation with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The effort resulted in assisting the European Union to select a single patent search system for the continent.

Marc has also played (and continues to play) an important role in key merger and acquisition ventures. This included efforts leading to the divestiture of Bell Communications Research, Inc. (Bellcore) by the (then) seven Regional Bell Operating Companies.

In addition to consulting and facilitation, Chinoy has frequently spoken publicly on Intellectual Property-related subjects, and conducted training on success through cyclical decision making processes. He conducted executive training and leadership development for the United States Chamber of Commerce Institutes for Organization Management at prominent universities throughout the country.

ERIC ZIMMERMAN
ASSOCIATE


Virginia resident Eric V. Zimmerman has been a member of the Virginia State Bar since 1975 and has served in a number of positions for the Loudoun County Bar Association. He also assists as a Commissioner in Chancery for the local court. His participation on the Real Property Committee of the Virginia State Bar has continued for two decades, even being appointed to the Board of Governors.

Eric was president of the Greater Loudoun Babe Ruth World Series when the National World Series for 16-year old boys was held in Virginia for the first time. As a result of those efforts he was named Loudoun County Citizen of the Year and the Virginia State Bar honored him with the Tradition of Excellence award.

Eric has lived in the Town of Purcellville since 1983, during which time he served two terms at its Mayor. He is married with four children and a bevy of pets. In addition to his family and professional commitments, he has coached youth sports (baseball and soccer).

The distinguishing feature of Eric's efforts is to assist his clients identify what their needs are, both from a personal and a business sense, and to help them achieve those goals. He recognizes in a legal sense what the client's rights are may not necessarily reflect what that client's desires are. Eric brings to the table the wisdom of practicing law and advising clients for over three and a half decades.

Studio Cypher (SC) is a business consultation and software customization firm founded in 2006 and headquartered in Bloomington, Indiana. SC is a nationally recognized firm experienced in facilitating revenue stream discovery, internet use enhancement, and software customization with a focus on gameifyed user experiences. SC provides these services to groups in the public interest such as community colleges, museums, zoos, and consultants looking to both enhance people’s lives and generate revenue.

Over the past several years, SC has:
  • Created an internet word jumble game that, for no upfront fee, can be used by public interest groups to raise funds
  • Created an enhanced walking tour to guide tourists around Bloomington, Indiana’s thriving downtown art scene
  • Consulted with an Optometry Supply company to help create a new hardware / software vision testing system, bringing a low-cost way for optometrists to turn a 30 minute eye test into a 5 minute eye test
  • Consulted with an energy conservation consultant to create an iphone application aimed at encourages home owners to lower their energy use

RICHARD EARLE
THE PASSING OF GREATNESS


With great sorrow and total respect, we mourn the passing of Richard Earle, who was a leader, innovator, and inspiration to all of us.

Richard Earle was a Cause Marketing, Branding, and Advertising expert with over 30 years experience at U.S. advertising agencies including Doyle Dane Bernbach, Grey Advertising, and most recently, Saatchi & Saatchi, New York, where he was Executive Vice President, Group Creative Director, when he retired.

He wrote major campaigns for Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, and Revlon, having created advertising / promotion for over 50 national brands and several key movements.

He created or supervised a number of award-winning public service campaigns, including the first national anti-drug abuse campaign and the Keep America Beautiful "Crying Indian" series.

A graduate of Amherst College, he is the author of the book "The Art of Cause Marketing: How to Use Advertising to Change Personal Behavior and Public Policy."

He is survived by his wife of many years, Pat, who has taken on the advancing of reading by young people, two daughters, Melissa and Carol, and a grand-daughter, Tess.

A broad range of professionals and leaders from a wide array of industries and disciplines mourn his passing.

BETTY OVERSTREET
ACCOUNTING MANAGER


As Accounting Manager, Betty Overstreet is responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

Betty attended Loudoun Valley High School and furthered her education at Northern Virginia Community College. She has over thirty-five years of business and bookkeeping experience.

Betty is a native of Loudoun County and currently resides with her husband in Purcellville, Virginia. Betty has two grown children and 5 grandkids. In her spare time, Betty enjoys spending time with her grandkids and square dancing. She also enjoys volunteering with the Salvation Army, and other small groups, doing weekly Bible Studies, reading and cruising to various islands.

DEBORAH CORNWELL
SPECIAL DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR


As Special Development Advisor, Deborah assures that the creative Quality of the Group follows the highest standards for the full range of clients.

Deborah has a lifetime passion for the creation of extra-ordinary table-top displays. Her work grace the homes of many families and a wide array of offices. Her lifetime passion for unique floral design has led to her recent development of "Bee Floral Designs".

Deborah joined the Regis Group in June 2012 after almost twenty years with a leading Shenandoah Valley School System, where she was a facility supervisor contributing a combined total of 40 years experience in the hospitality, healthcare, as well as site management.

Deborah comes from Winchester, Virginia, where her family dates back there residence for five generations. She now resides in Leesburg. She has two children and six grandchildren.
